The Cla-Val Sand Trap solution removes harmful Sand and Silt from the water supply to the valve pilot system. The Sand Trap is easily and effectively cleaned. It can be used even where high sand/silt content makes use of common filters impossible. The Sand Trap works by centrifugally separating heavy particles and depositing them into the collection chamber at the bottom of the assembly, leaving the valve pilot supply water clean.
