Cla-Val Model 90-42 is used to automatically reduce higher inlet pressure to a steady, lower outlet pressure in shipboard fire protection piping systems, regardless of changing flow rate and/or varying inlet pressure. The valve's pilot control system is very sensitive to slight downstream pressure fluctuations, and will automatically open or close to maintain the desired pressure setting.
UL Listed for fire protection applications and available in a variety of materials, the 90-42 is ideal for use in any application where line pressure reduction is desired.
